# Who has the most post????

I was wandering through reading some post when I was looking at the amount of post some people have gotten up to ((HANDY has ALOT)). So my question, well actually I have 2, are:

1. Who has had the most post in straightdope history

2. Who has the most post right now out of active dopers

Handy’s it. He’s got to be approaching what…15000 or so.

And he’s still active.

However, he will lose at some point in the future. Possibly Guinastasia or Q.E.D. will be the first to overtake him.

It is interesting how post counts cause such a fuss,  
When it really doesn’t matter to most of us.  
Though I have to confess,  
That in my newbie earnestness  
My [Darwinian metaphor of post counts was ambitious](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=97476&pagenumber=1).

(One of my first OPs, and it made Threadspotting (!) on 11-7-2001)
