I’ve been 10,555mi from my birthplace, to Inverness, Scotland, when I was 26 years old. Prior to that trip the furtherest I’d been was Canberra, 249mi. ---

Not me. 5065 miles west to Kehaka Kuaii. 2070 south to San Isidro Honduras. I’ve only been marginally north or east. The furthest place I could go is somewhere in the ocean southwest of Australia. ---

I’ve walked across Dorman Long’s 2 most famous bridges and was born about a mile from one of them: Newcastle, UK to Sydney, Australia is 10490 miles or thereabouts. That was all of once though. Discounting that trip, the furthest I’ve been is Toledo in Spain, a mere 1049 miles and rather neatly 10% of my maximum. ---

Looking at an antipode map, it appears the furthest I can realistically ever get is 11,290 miles (the exact antipode from Akron, OH is in the Ocean). So, I just need to visit the southwestern coast of Australia, around Perth.
