Born near Duluth MN, have traveled (on a submarine) to Perth Australia, over 17,000 km (10,600 miles) away. I think that it’s the furthest I could get. ---

8700 miles from NYC to Pattaya Beach, Thailand though the route was more circuitous. Maybe 9,500, maybe 10,000 to the furthest point on the water in the Indian Ocean. I live 42 miles from my first home though 3.78 miles from where I grew up.
