You have no idea how I’ve fetishized _Ya-yas_ since my father and I bought a scratchy used LP at a Puerto Rican Day streetfest in New York City in 1979, when I was nine years old (do the math — I was a fetus while you were enjoying the show). My father passed away a year later. Anyway, I hate you. 😉 ---

I saw Dan Fogelberg at San Francisco’s Cow Palace back around 1994 or so. He died, age 56, in 2007. Way too young. [Leader of the Band](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qsocZrEcp0Y) Fogelberg, one of my very favorites. ---

Back in 1996, I got to see Douglas Adams on a tour that he gave when he came to my university. I really don’t remember most of it, he gave a talk about writing and stuff, then read a dramatic reading from “Last Chance to See”, as well as taking some audience questions and naming a cat.
