I wish I had known how interesting mine was while it was happening. I would have been happier then & now but for that. So I just have a life, better than some, worse than others. As to interesting to others, prolly not. ---

I don’t know specifically how interesting it was, but **Scootergirl** has lived on 3 different continents and seemingly most U.S. states. My life has interesting components, but compared to my parents I feel like a boring stay-at-home slacker. ---

I’ve lived on four continents: North America, Asia, Africa and Europe; and in nine countries: Germany, Belgium, Portugal, Spain, Guatemala, Japan, Vietnam, Mali and Uganda. Some of those were on military assignments or with the State Department, so it depends on your definition of “lived”. Visited something like 26 other countries, but I forget. Interesting to people who haven’t been anywhere, I suppose. Born in a US territory (Alaska), lived on Guam and on St. Thomas (US unincorporated territories). Lived in five states, visited many more. ---

My life is quite interesting to me. I don’t expect everyone else would find it so, but I do get to do some of the things I find interesting (not all of them - there isn’t time and never will be). ---

My mom was placed in Witness Protection when she was pregnant, because my dad turned out to be a serial killer. My mom died while giving birth to me (and, I found out much later, to my sister), and I wound up being adopted by my step-uncle. I grew up in the middle of nowhere, which was boring as hell. I wound up on the run after my dad’s goons killed my uncle and aunt. I joined the military, and learned how to be a pilot. Fought in the war, fell in love (though, as it turned out, it was with my long-lost sister :p). I eventually found my dad, and reconciled with him. Mine is so interesting, it usually takes three or four therapy sessions to get through it all. It’s kind of like _Forrest Gump_ but without the chocolates. Or the bus. Or the money and magazine covers. ---
