All the musicians in Thelonious Monk’s “In Walked Bud” (lyrics by Jon Hendricks) are pretty readily identifiable. Dizzy, Byas, etc. O.P. I guess could be either Oscar Pettiford or Oscar Peterson.

But who is the “Oscar” who plays a mean sax?
