Not exactly the opposite (in one of these he ends up betraying his rescuers and dying), but I think Matt Damon gets an honorable mention for being rescued, at great expense, in multiple different movies (The Martian, Interstellar, and Saving Private Ryan) ---

What about another Sean, Connery? Dies in _The Untouchables_ but I can’t think of another death (or does he die in the terrible _Avengers_ film from the late 1990s?). Even gets to drink from the holy grail in _Last Crusade._ And he certainly starred in plenty of films where his characters would have been in danger. ---
