In his novel “Days of Atonement” Walter Jon Williams has as the main character a small town sheriff who frequently uses the phrase: “Assholes Always Advertise”. Seems on point. ---

Is any of the twitter stuff I saw on his Twitter thing Russian troll bot stuff? I’m not saying he knew or was tied to it, just curious if the stuff he was sharing was linked to troll farm operations. ---

From my experience, bots may propagate or create some of the nastiest stuff, but there are plenty of homegrown haters who are more than happy to latch onto it. Essentially, while the bots amplify and create a distorted reality, they are working with a very receptive audience. ---

report says he went to multiple Trump rallies so I would guess the networks are now trying to find any tape of him at a rally. he also moved around the country , lived in Michigan and NC as well as NY and Florida.
