I understand lack of funds and I even understand how difficult it is for some people to send things. Postage costs money and I realize times are tough. That’s why I volunteered to send an **extra** White Elephant for someone who couldn’t participate. But you know what? At least that person **said** they couldn’t do it and appropriate action was taken and Bad News Baboon got her White Elephant. Those of you who have said something or mailed a package are obviously not considered irresponsible. I didn’t get a White Elephant and that’s fine. I just think an email or something would’ve been nice. Heck, it didn’t even have to be to me. I think **thinksnow** could’ve been notified and he could’ve relayed the message without revealing the identity of the person. ---

Grace, You live nearby, postal rates will be inexpensive. I can elephant you! email me. btw, thanks a bunch for the cool schwag! here is a short summary of the cool things I got: A Texas mug. with an Armadillo, of course. and the killer part was: I really needed a mug! I got a ‘nifty’ cuecat thing. its great: My Hubbie had to laugh, because we finally got rid of the one we had…just to get another one. lol I got a elvis book ala waldo. a friend of mine is a huge elvis fan. wanna guess who got this? I got a swatch of wall paper border. which I left on a low counter. which the dogs ate. I got post it notes. use those at the phone! I got some champagne flutes. where was the champagne? 😉 I got some golf balls, which mr baboon quickly grabbed. I got a light switch cover. I got a country cd. wow. i think its a coaster now. 😉 I got loads and loads of packing peanuts. which the dogs loved to no end. it was great, grace! Thank you so much! ---

My elephant has arrived!! Thanks to **Bad News Baboon**! A partial, but not exhaustive list of contents include: [ul] 4 exceedingly ugly, in a beguiling sort of way, troll dolls Sherlock Holmes on tape a set of those nifty magnets with the words on them that go on the fridge perfume, including one broken bottle, which made everything smell pretty! a South Side Vibe cd (which I am listening to now) a nifty wallet a little leopard (faux) change purse/key ring combo playing cards a calculator lots of circa 1988 jewelry (this is **Really Cool** - I use it to make other stuff) a really pretty silver hair clip - it’s made in FRANCE! a Scully doll a shwack of votive candles a plastic cupcake a yo-yo a belt et al.
