Don’t get excited. I Googled McDonalds ad and Chicken selects until I saw a black guy fitting your general description. But it’s a terrible picture. Something about his body stance looks oddly familiar. Chances are though, if this guy is doing all the commerical work you mention, he’s undoubtedly LA based and has bit parts on UPN TV shows, maybe a few music videoes, or works in movies. I’m looking at that head thinking, “He could’ve gotten a part in CUTZ or the BARBERSHOP movies, easy.” ---

I posted a request for the IMDB of Commercials a few years ago whenan attractive blond, who I just know I saw in porn or softcore, started appearing on EVERY commercial! No luck identifying her. But currently, I am seeing a lot of commercial stars. There is a guy in the Burger King “Office” ads that seems to be everywhere. He is in Aspen Edge and was recently in one of those stock market (Nasdaq?) commericals where people confuse investors with CEOs. He was the waiter who started singing to his customer (who LOOKED just like Rita Wilson!) ---

There is this white guy with what looks like premature grey hair who is doing a lot of commericals. In the movies he is “Inconsiderate Cell Phone Man” and on TV he does a spot for some sort of protien drink “solenge” or something like that. He does other stuff too. ---

He was also on a Captain Morgan commercial, where he’s skating sideways while maintaining the smiling Captian Morgan pose. ---

I am indeed talking about McHale. I didn’t know he was famous. A few other guys in the past who stuck out as commercial superstars were: [Joel Moore](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0601376/)started out on the Cingular commercials about overage charges (nerdy guy acting tough) and went on to a few other commercials. Soon after, he had a featured role in Dodgeball. As well as a guy who did a FedEx commercial and a few others. He also played a small part on an episode of Just Shoot Me where he was one of Finch’s intern boot camp participants (the main guy). Anyone remember that series of Apple commercials? Where one person, a “real” person is talking about their experience? There was one, about a notebook computer I think, where an actress is talking about buying a gift. At the end, she says “I’m Janie Marsh and I saved Christmas.” I thought that actress had such wonderful charisma. She would have been perfect for a sitcom. Any idea who she was or if she’s done anything since? ---

Well since this has parted enought times, I feel this is not a Hijack; 1.Haysbert on Allstate I saw this durring “24” and I wondered at first if there was connection (Above and beyond Allstate being a sponsor. 2.That Country Crock Male voice/Rooms to go Voice/GA tobacco quit line Isnt this the guy who does the voice of Stu Pickles on rugrats? 3.Old Rooms to go Commercial Wasn’t this the Dad on Clarissa Explains it all? 1. Has the guy who was Carl Winslow on Family Matters made some rounds in commercials as well? ---
