Did you guys ever get the 1980s BBC sitcom ‘[Sorry!](http://www.phill.co.uk/comedy/sorry/index.html)’ in the US? The mother in that show, Phyllis Lumsden, was bloody evil. ---

Um, what was Niles Crane’s wife’s name? Not Maris, but the brunette he married and then almost immediately left for Daphne, once he realized Daphne loved him? She was mean to everyone when she came over for brunch, “You are putting the dog outside while we eat, aren’t you Martin?” “Daphne, you will make my omelette with egg whites only, won’t you?” Then, so she wouldn’t be “embarrassed” getting divorced so soon after she got married, she wanted Niles to slowly turn into a creep in front of their snobby socialite friends so she could have justification. Granted, she was somewhat screwed over after they got married, but she was a bitch at that brunch. ---

In defence of Debra from Everybody loves Raymond, she has a lot to deal with from her husband to her mother in law. I just think she needs a really long vacation. I really dislike Peggy Hill though. ---

Yeah. the Sopranos has to be the best **sitcom** of all time! I vote for Roseanne. I think Lois from _Malcolm in the Middle_ might be worse, but there are extenuating circumstances - EVERYONE in that family is rotten to the core. She’s just one of the gang. ---

I don’t know her name, but the wife from _Curb Your Enthusiasm_ is very bitchy. Poor Larry David gets into bizarre situations that are NEVER his fault, yet she always blames him and accepts to excuse. Also, his manager’s ex-wife is a big bitch, too. ---
