What about “Khan Sr.” on “King of the Hill”? She is only interested in appearances, and one-upping the Hills (who she thinks are no good hicks). ---

Carrie from King of Queens and Debra from Everybody Loves Raymond. Look, I agree that sometimes their husbands can be jerks, but that doesn’t excuse what royal bitches they were at times. Carrie was a total control freak. She told him what he could wear, where he could eat and even what cologne he was and was not allowed to wear. If she didn’t like something, then that was it! Doug couldn’t like it either. She was mean and acted like a street whore most of time. Debra is really bad too. She screams at Ray all the time about every little thing she can find to bitch about. He got free tickets to the Super Bowl. He asked his best friend Gianni to go with him. Debra hates football but made him feel guilty about not taking her with him. Why? Because they haven’t “gone away together for a long time”. He goes without her and then feels bad about not inviting her. He flies her over and then she goes anal on him because he’s not going to spend every waking minute with her, and she puts so much guilt on him that he tears up his and Gianni’s Super Bowl tickets. One Christmas, Ray gave his mother a dream gift of hers - A Barone Family Photo! What does Debra the Bitch do? She invites her own parents to be in the photo even though they are not Barones and she knows Marie can’t stand them. Remember the famous Thanksgiving episode? The whole family is looking forward to their Thanksgiving turkey dinner, and of course Debra has to get into “the loop” and start her own tradition with…A Thanksgiving Fish! Come on! Thanksgiving means turkey to most people. We look forward to it. She always wanted to be right and wanted Ray to be wrong. Remember the canister episode? Marie lent Debra her mother’s canister and then asked for it back. Debra swore over and over that she didn’t have it. Marie felt bad and apologized for calling Debra a liar. Then it turns out that Debra gave it to Allie to keep her crayons inside. Isn’t that nice? Someone loans you a family heirloom and you hand it off to some little kid. She then cons Ray and Robert into keeping silent while she trashes the item because she doesn’t want to admit to Marie that she actually did have it. In the end, poor Frank took the rap when they tried to sneak it back into the house. She was a royal bitch. Always pinning shit on other people. Sorry for the long rant, but there are plenty of episodes where she is the bitch. Look, guys are guys and they are gonna watch sports, belch, scratch their asses and ignore us sometimes. Guy are guys. Leave them alone. Let them enjoy their lives. Stop trying to control them and tell them how to do everything. I’ve been married to the same man for 22 years. He loves sports, playing games on the computer, reading and sitting around the house sometimes in his box shorts. But you know what, he loves me too. He tells me often and does plenty for me. I don’t need the crap these sitcom wives need such as constant talking about “our feelings” and “constant cuddling” and all that stuff. Debra got mad when Ray couldn’t sleep because she practically wrapped herself around him every night in bed. Guess what? I wouldn’t be able to sleep either if my husband was hanging onto me all night in bed. I need space when I sleep. People holding onto you all night can be uncomfortable and restricting. She was a very unreasonable and self-centered woman. Okay, that’s my rant for now. 😛 ---

I gotta defend Hyacinth Bucket. She’s not really mean or hateful, she’s just clueless. I love her optimism. She always thinks everything will work out perfectly, and then here comes Rose and Daisy and Onslow and Daddy. I did love the episode where Richard finally told her to shut the fuck up. ---

I love Everybody Loves Raymond, but the vile mean things pouring out of Patricia Heaton’s mouth recently makes me dislike ‘Deb’ even more. Goes to show an utter troll can disguise itself in a pretty package. I can’t bring myself to watch King of Queens. There’s something about that immature fat ass leading man that turns me off so much that even if it was the funniest sitcom ever I still couldn’t watch it. But it’s interesting you say the wife, Carrie, “acts like a street whore most of the time” (I’ll take your word for it). It’s always been my secret theory that on TV the fat jerks who are married to slim good looking women, that the women have had a really sordid past. They’re reformed, been to rehab, whatever, and have hooked up with dumb adoring schmoes who feel lucky to score such prizes. These women have sort of been saved from the gutter and are now living a respectable life. (see Ernest Borgnine and Stella Stevens in The Poseidon Adventure). ---

There are countless wives who could win this, but only one mom: Frank Gallagher’s mom on the Showtime series : Shameless. She’s stabbed him in the leg over money, used her own grandson to buy meth supplies and build a meth lab in the basement, threatened their neighbor with a gun during an engagement party, and countless other evil doings. She was only on for a few episodes but she left quite the impression. ---
