San Antonio: NBA, Spurs (Present): Tim Duncan NBA, Spurs (Past): George Gervin Yeah, I know Robinson played for the Spurs (hell, the Spurs damn near invented the concept of tanking so they could draft him (just like they did for Duncan)), but around town there’s a bit more Gervin-worship than Robinson-worship. ---

Also, “And his highlight reel performances early in his NFL career quickly earned him the moniker “Prime Time”.” Dude, Deion was called Prime Time in HIGH SCHOOL. He had the nickname before starting at FSU let alone the NFL. ---

Minnesota… Current: Vikings - Adrian Peterson, although Chris Kluwe has been picking up major press lately. Twins - Joe Mauer Timberwolves - Kevin Love Wild - Have to go with Zach Parise, even though he has yet to play a game for the team. All-time: Vikings - If it’s allowed, I’d have to say Bud Grant. If not, it’s a tough choice, but I’d have to argue for Fran Tarkenton. Twins - Kirby Puckett Timberwolves - Kevin Garnett Wild - Not much to choose from, but probably Marian Gaborik. ---
