About six years ago, Lisa Ann Walter had a TV series called “Life’s Work.” I have been a serious fan of her since then. In my all-time category, Teri Garr still rules, and as she was Phoebe’s mom on “Friends” she counts. ---

I have to go with Suzanne Pleshette for all time honors. She was smokin’-under-the-sheets sizzling! A couple of names that haven’t been mentioned – Hot Lips Houlihan. Remember the episode when her beloved Lt. Col. Donald Penobscott sent her a package from Tokyo? “Oh that dear, sweet man! He knows how I love fine leather!” Corky Sherwood, after her honeymoon, to Murphy Brown. “We just relaxed. We relaxed in the hotel room. We relaxed on the beach. We relaxed at the pool. Oh Murphy, I hope you get relaxed sometime soon!” And does anyone else wonder WHY Ricky put up with Lucy for all those years? As for current wives, I can’t believe no one has mentioned Dr. Elizabeth Corday. Sure the baby cramped her style, but I have no doubt that if the brain tumor hadn’t killed Mark, she would have. ---
