My thought would be that some races can do some stuff better than the Q, but no one can do as many things as the Q can. There was a [trilogy](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek:_The_Q_Continuum) of novels about Q’s back story that placed a lot of the Star Trek god-like entities into a hierarchy. A sort of continuum, if you will. ---
