Who is the oldest celebrity that you are attracted to?

David Bowie. Alan Rickman. Sting.

I can’t have the hots for Harrison Ford: yes, he’s very handsome, but for some reason I always think he looks like my dad. He doesn’t. I don’t know why I think he does. He’s actually older than my dad by seven-ish years. Even as Han Solo, my squishy girl feelings are overcome with “ew, he looks like Dad”. And Brad Pitt looks like my uncle, or he would if Brad Pitt gained about fifty pounds and grew his beard and hair again.

The attraction to David Bowie? Er… shuffles feet I think that it does have something to do with Labyrinth. Not that I was hot for Bowie when I was eight (though I do remember informing Mom that Jareth could REALLY SING), but A) I had weird feelings in my stomach watching him that I couldn’t quite explain and B) he just seems… otherworldly, in a fey sort of way. If I learned that he really was an elf-prince who got bored and decided to live a human life for a while, I wouldn’t be a bit surprised.

I love George Clooney  He isn’t that old, but he is just very attractive.

The only one of mine who hasn’t been mentioned is Eric Clapton (65). I’m mainly posting to thank Rafe for this metaphor.

Mmmm…chubby Brad Pitt. Almost as good as chubby Matt Damon. Although I’d prefer that Brad not grow out the beard. There’s just something really wrong with his facial follicles or something, 'cause that was one UGLY beard…

Hal Linden, 79. No doubt about it.

I had a crush on him during the 70’s in his Barney Miller days, when I thought he was a really hot “older” man (I was 17, he was probably mid-forties then).

Saw him in the 80’s guest-starring on The Golden Girls as one of Dorothy’s high school boyfriends - and YOWZA! Still hot in his fifties!

Saw him again guesting on Will & Grace (don’t know the year) as a rich man who was dating Will - ZOINKS! Still had that boyish grin and those devastating eyes.

For dessert: Jamie Lee Curtis (51)

This is very weird. I have been trying to figure this out for a while. The IMDB sez she was born in 1961; Wikipedia sez she was born in 1964, but if you click their cite link, it sez she may have been born in 1954!

So what the heck! I think she must be older because Wikipedia says she was already a nurse in 1982.

Anyway, yes, she is adorable.

Hmmm… and yet Mmmm. Oddly, if she’s older that just adds to the yummy factor as per the OP.

Lata Mangeshkar, 80. I haven’t seen any recent pictures of her, but her sweet, melancholy voice alone is enough.

Constance Marie (The George Lopez Show) - YUM!!!

I point out that she always looked perpetually suprised, even at 21.

Great thread! (Today is my 62nd birthday. )

I’m 68 and I’m with you on these two.

More than twenty years ago, I was a little tyke, and Mad Max 3 was released, and man, did I want to bang Tina, even at my age.
I still want to today, even at her age.

I said it earlier, but it’s worth repeating: As Catherine Deneuve ages, (spam link deleted) but never fades . She’s 67.

Gary Oldman, 52
Mikhail Baryshnikov, 62
Al Pacino, 70

Another for Nigella Lawson (50)

Stevie Nicks (62) just beats out Jane Seymour (59) for me.

Florence Henderson looked damn good on dancing with the stars. I’d give Mrs. Brady something to remember.

Johnny Depp, 47
