Beat that in which direction? The mid-thirties is probably just about middle-range for this board. There are posters who are in their teens, even in their early teens, like for instance this guy “Mercutio” is said to be only 15. (Hard to believe–I’ve read some of his stuff.) I have the impression that there are tons of posters in their 40s and 50s, and probably also a few in their 60s and 70s. So folks like us would be an average, or perhaps a median. Tom (36) ---

I could have sworn that I read somewhere that **Speaker for the Dea** is but a mere pup at the age of 13. Of course, that was some time ago, so he may be 14 now. ---

My brother **alloran** was 12 when he registered. I found out, and knowing that there are rules against this sort of thing, checked in ATMB to find out that yup, same rules apply here. He’s 13 now, but I’m not in any particular hurry to let him crawl back until he poses on threat of embarassing me on here:) [sub]I do that well enough by myself![/sub] ---

23 now, so guessing I’m on the younger end of the spectrum for this board. Just a couple of years ago I felt the need to go into long explanations and disclaimers about my age, feeling the need to convince other people that I didn’t really “feel my age” (maybe this was in reaction to always ending up dating men who were twice my age).
