Isn’t the richest person on the planet really that person who is most loved?
This money stuff is vastly overated.
To avoid the restrictions of the OP, I think there’s money, and then there’s MONEY.
Bill Gates, for his billions, is probably somewhere inbetween (Money).
One only has to look at places like Aspen, Co to see money. $25 mil for a house sounds like a lot, but there are families where that wouldn’t budge the Earnings and loss statements.
Look at a photo of Monaco…(e.g. http://www.elmarine.com/monaco-grand-prix.jpg ) see that line of boats along the back? See the multi-million dollar condos pointing towards the water?
There’s more money wrapped up in that bay than you can fathom. I’ll bet a large chunk of it belongs to a small chunk of people.
By the way, diggleblop, you have a standing invitation…

Well, to put it another way then, could Gates or another billionaire walk into his bank and say “I would like like 300 million in cash.”
I know the bank would freak out, but could that amount of cash be made available? I mean literally 300 mil. What would they do? What denominations? Would it break the bank? How much would it weigh? ![]()

Who can write the biggest check might be one way to answer the question. (And not havit bounce!)
