I saw the subject and knew I wasn’t going to be the first one to say “me”, but so far there hasn’t been anyone willing to say why they are the sexiest. The rest of the posts are the same movie stars and musicians that turn up on every such list, and while I grant that they are attractive, I don’t see how they can be sexy… they are no more real than the light on a picture screen. They act out roles that hide their personalities, they have people hide their imperfections with makeup, and they have publicists to hide their lives. That’s not sexy, that’s fake. I, on the other hand, am real. And that’s why I’m the sexiest man alive. First, looks. I’m a broad shouldered, dark skinned male with long brown hair. I know this makes me sexy because this is what the guy on the cover of most every romance novel I have ever seen looks like. Therefore demographic studies have said I’m sexy. Also important is ability to provide for a mate. Women are attracted to men who can take care of them. While I currenty do not make a great deal of money, I make more than most people my age, and am on a fast track to make a great deal of money in the near future. My ability to defefend my mate is less useful, but is also covered by my large frame and passing knowledge of martial arts. A woman in my presence can feel secure that she will be protected and well taken care of. That makes me sexy. Raw sex appeal is very important. I am 23, close enough to my sexual peak to have incredible staying power, but old enough to have learned a great many things. I also have a personality that gains pleasure from giving pleasure to others, which increases my appeal as a lover. I am also perfectly endowed. Above average enough to make my presence known, but not enough to make my presence painful. These all make me sexy. Personality is a tricky one. I believe my slight bipolar disorder gives me the best of both worlds. Some women are attracted to the dark, brooding, artist types… and when I am in a down mood, I am definately that. I write my best when I am down, and it is invariably an ode to some love or lover. Other women like a brighter outlook, and I have that the rest of the time… in an up mood my smile rarely leaves my face. To add to that I am a reserved, quiet type, which makes women go nuts trying to crack me open. My mysterious nature is sexy. Talent is sexy. Women love men who can create things for them. I am an accomplished poet, as my name would suggest, and also dabble in other arts. I play the bass guitar, the tuba, and have a passable singing voice. I also enjoy dabbling in photoshop and other computer programs to create oddball sorts of art. And art is sexy. Lastly, confidence. As Jack Palance said, “Confidence is sexy”. I’m willing to state in an open forum that I am the sexiest man alive. I will leave that as my evidence of this last point.
