My nominees are **Veb** and **Tomndeb** , I always look forward to reading their posts and their sheer breadth of knowledge astounds me. list might include **Omniscient** and **Chronos** There are plenty more but these two stand out, I always try to take in what they say, but I often get left behind too. I don’t want to appear too creepy crawly but the mods are impressive too especially on their specialist areas. I’ll cast another vote for Tomndebb. I’ve had the distinct pleasure (?) of being (diplomatically) rebuffed on a couple of occasions by Tom, and he was right. I hadn’t double-checked my answer, being fairly sure of myself. He has added many times more to my general knowledge of things than I have of his. I’d also cast a vote for Dr. Fidelius, a learned individual indeed. With a definite sense of humour. ---

I’m going to have to agree with Slythe and nominate our own Cecil Adams. He counts too, doesn’t he? 🙂 I’m fairly new here–so I haven’t gotten much of a chance to call myself a ‘regular’ yet. So it’s always a bit of a surprise whenever I find an old thread that the Master has posted in. Even in all his crabbiness–he eminates IQ points left and right with a thirst for knowledge that will not be satiated! -Ashley (For some reason–I miss WallyM7 even though I wasn’t around while he was still alive and posting. The tributes to him on the TM homepage carry strong and sincere feelings.) ---

I’ll throw in some Euro-Trash. London\_Calling and Spiny Norman, although a relative newbie and a longtime slacker respectively, are among the most eloquent and best informed Dopers, IMHO. ---
