We have so many interesting person on the Dope. Few I think are more interesting, or perhaps more mysterious than Rachm Qoch.
Consider:
He (she?) is a Member, but not a Charter Member. He joined on 12 January, 2004.
He has only seven posts. The vast majority of them are in the Death pool thread. He has never started a thread.
He has a commanding lead in the Death Pool. Came from nowhere, and dominates.
Conclusion? Not really enough data, but I suspect that Rachm Qoch take the Death Pool game much more seriously than the rest of us. I bow down before him.
For the record, here is the list that is doing so well this year. I am simply pleased that I am not on it.
Let’s look at the name Rachm Qoch. An obvious anagram of “Choq March” or “Chalk Mark”. As in “keeping a tally using a chalk on a board” or perhaps even a reference to the mistaken concept of police putting chalk outlines around bodies.
Klingon? c’mon, it’s phonic. The guy’s a cock. Rack’em cock to be exact. Rack’em means “set up a new game of billiards”. Billiards, as in ‘pool’. They guy has set them up and is knocking them down, just like a game of pool. And he understands that people would find him to be a cock. It’s against the Grim Reeper’s rules to use his actual name, so he’s using a nom de guerre.
