# Who is this slavic painter?

I’m looking at the picture displayed during the playing of the piece of music. It looks familiar and I’m guessing it was painted at the end of the 19th century.

Why do you think it’s Slavic? The title of the song is in Swedish, btw.

I agree with Argent Towers, FWIW. He’s Russian (Repin, that is. I don’t know about A.T.)

John Mace: it’s slavic because of the clothing and cultural artifacts visible in the painting. I thought it was Russian but I wasn’t sure. I’ve seen paintings like this before.
