I’m wondering what Springfield resident you like the best. I’m also wondering what your all time favorite saying is. You can pick a few but number them. YOUR FAV PHRASE DOESN’T HAVE TO BE THE CHARCHTER YOU LIKE THE BEST. ---

Favorite character is Homer, handsdown. My favorite quote is from what I think is one of the various future Lisas where she turns white (yellow?) trash and has gotten extremely big. “Kids! Go get mama her warshin’ stick!” My mother (and I) have always struggled with our weight, and though she is not a giant fan of the Simpsons, she remembers that ep and that line and will yell it whenever she’s feeling she’s gotten really heavy. ---

No one favorite, several of my faves already noted. I’ll add “Quick! Give me the number for 9-1-1!” “The PTA has disbanded” A couple of people cite this phrase - it’s the only quote here I cannot bring to mind at all. ---

Not sure I have a favorite character, but my all-time favorite quote is from Ralph Wiggums: “My cat’s breath smells like cat food.” The only other quote that comes close for me is situational, and needs to be heard because the tone and inflection are important: “I… don’t know.” See, all by itself that’s not funny, but in the scene it’s AWESOME.
