I’ve got to go with Odin as presented in [The Vikings (1958).](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0052365/) In fact, not many years ago I was asked to say “grace” at Thanksgiving dinner. So I did my best Ernest Borgnine [Odin!](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAM85DFfR24) and got a good laugh. ---

He wasn’t quite a Supreme Being, but it’s still one of my favorite lines ever, from Superman…II? I think? “KNEEL BEFORE ZOD.” (Man kneeling, in desperation and horror): “Oh, god.” (Zod, in kindly benevolence. “_Zod_.” Never fails to make me giggle. ---

Not in a film, but a great line, especially with the rhythm it’s delivered: God said “Abe” Abe said “What?” God said “You can do want you want, but the next time you see me coming, you’d better run.” [Comes right after : God said to Abraham “Kill me a son” Abe said “Man, you must be puttin’ me on” and right before : “Where do you want this killing done?” “Out on Highway 61”] ---
