Unlike Lennon and Ringo, McCartney’s solo work indicates that, even without the Beatles, he could’ve had a music career and a record contract with a major label. Harrison would’ve been on some indy label but the other two? Don’t quit your day job, boys.

Lennon? That’s crazy talk!

_Imagine, Mind Games, Instant Karma, Whatever Get You Through The Night, Woman, Watching The Wheels_, etc.

That’s a great, 10-year, solo career by any stretch of the imagination.

Ripped off from Creem magazine sometime I think in the late 70’s and I always remembered it.
