Who Madness: The Final Four - "Quadrophenia!"

  1. Baba O’Riley

  2. My Generation
    Should be an interesting final.

My Generation

Good idea! Who wants to set it up (not me)?

Won’t Get Fooled Again

I’d love to see a Kinks madness. I wouldn’t even mind setting it up myself, but I’m probably not the best qualified, as I’m unfamiliar with any of the post-Word of Mouth albums.

  2. My Generation

  1. I Can See for Miles

  2. Won’t Get Fooled Again

I Can See For Miles

and

Won’t Get Fooled Again

oh come on, down to four songs and NONE of them are from Quadrophenia? I needed to join in on this way earlier (it’s a slow afternoon for me, so I’m having more doper time than usual) as The Who is one of my favorite bands.

This one is actually really easy.

Baba O’Riley - does anyone NOT like this song?

Won’t Get Fooled Again - I repeat, does anyone NOT like this song?
My Generation & I Can See For Miles are good songs too, but not GREAT songs. I’m not sure if either would even be in my top 20.

A while ago, I classified The Who fans into three categories - the My Generation fan, the Pinball Wizard fan and the Baba O’Riley fan. I am in the third category, as I am the biggest fan of their Who’s Next/Quadrophenia synth era.
Has anyone run a Pearl Jam, They Might Be Giants or Weird Al countdown? I would love to volunteer for any of those, just as long as the winner isn’t going to automatically be Even Flow, Birdhouse and Eat It…

“Love, Reign O’er Me” and “5:15” both performed well in the previous rounds.

I may be really missing something, but what’s the point of all these surveys? Is a final list compiled? (I haven’t seen one.) And so what anyway?

What am I missing?
