It’s a novel idea, though, isn’t it? I wonder what other crimes could be "magic"ed away with such a point of view…

Murder: “Nope. the axe didn’t _actually_ cause any damage to him, Officer! After all, I wrapped it with one of those jumbo condoms.”

Molestation: “Nope. Didn’t happen. I had a surgical gloves on. They were even latex!”
