Who needs an alarm clock to wake up?

Some days I “need” the alarm, some days I wake up automatically before it goes off (which I HATE because psychologically, I feel as if I got ripped off for those 5 or 10 minutes before the alarm goes off!).

I know this isn’t part of your poll, but I’m also one of those weird people, yes, I set my clock ahead. Just the alarm clock. Technically, I know it’s ahead, but it gives me that little psychological boost. Oh yay, it’s not really 6am, I can still lay here for a few minutes.

I never use an alarm clock, invariably waking about 20 minutes before I need to get up each morning…I wake at 6.10 am and get up around 6.30.

Weirder still, on those occasions when I have to get up extraordinarily early (to pick someone up from the airport or to make an awfully early appointment) I STILL wake up 20 minutes before getup time…whether that’s 3.00am or 5.00am…my body clock is acutely attuned to every-fucking-thing.

It really sucks on the weekends when I WANT to sleep in of course. :rolleyes:
