# Who sang this song?

It was a childish sounding girl group, late 50’s, early 60’s. The song was “June Night”, chorus “…gimmee gimme gimmee a June night, the moon light, and you.” I know the lyrics, the song is an oldie. Not the McGuire Sisters, not the Bell Sisters. Any idea?

Thanks, Snowboarder Bo, but the one I’m thinking of is a remake, I used to hear it on a rock n’ roll station, when I was very young. The Bell Sisters certainly fit the description, but the girl or girl group I’m thinking of had a more succinct, sassy sound.

Hmmm, I thought it might have been Teresa Brewer, but her version may not have been recorded until the 80s.
