I find it interesting that both Bricker and John Mace just came out and said, “Yeah, Warren’s what you want.” I admire that honesty and think, pace Machiavelli, I should cultivate it in myself.
I think we have a clear answer here.
I am an unabashed Warren fangirl (I was also one of the delegates at the state convention earlier this month who nominated her), but putting that aside I agree with those above who say she objectively meets your criteria better than Brown. If Scott Brown was actually as moderate as he claims, I’d say you should keep him in mind and learn more about him before making you choice. Unfortunately, his voting record has been almost completely lockstep with the mainstream Republicans. In all fairness, he was one of the eight Republicans in the Senate who voted to strike down Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, but that’s really not enough for me to say he’s actually a moderate in the sense you seem to be looking for.
