I really do think the Bond franchise is played out. Bond was a product of the Cold War, & that’s all over. There’s no place in the world for Bond. So, my answer to “Who should be the next Bond?” is…nobody. ---

I think the next Bond film should be a musical. With that in mind, I nominate Wayne Brady. ---

Hmmmm…supposedly Orlando Bloom has been signed to play a [young James Bond](http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/article/ds15131.html) in an upcoming film (other stories today are confirming this Monday report). If Bond is stripped of his wordly nature, I’m not sure where that leaves him. Eh, whatever. I’ve never seen a Bond movie in a theater, I guess that doesn’t make me much of a fan. ---
