I’m glad they went with a more mature guy. At least someone in their forties. Never heard of Peter Capaldi but he’s making a good impression in his interview. ---

Yay! Much as I have enjoyed Tennant and Smith, it was really time for a fresh take on the Doctor, hopefully romance-free and full of asperity. Love this choice! ---

Very, very happy with the choice. Capaldi was pretty much just what I was hoping for: older (so no more Magic Time Lord Boyfriends, much as I will always love Tennant as “my” Doctor), very attractive in a dignified way, good actor, funny but serious, tall, slim, and looks great in a suit. 🙂 Can’t wait to see him in action! ---
