My vote goes, ironically to **START**. His threads seem to stand out more than the rest. Take that as a compliment **START** my good man. ---

**Lobsang** your nomination of **Start** has some merit, but since he/she has only been the OP of approximately 6 threads, it might just be chalked up to beginner’s luck. You on the other hand are much more prolific and probably hold the record for starting the most threads, in the period since you joined SDMB. So I nominate **Lobsang** as starting the most unique (and not so unique) threads. 😉 ---

I do. Based purely on the ratio of my posts to my initiated threads, all the threads I have started have been nearly unique, so I have the “most” unique threads. 😉 ---

My vote goes to **Eve**. I always read her threads. Her topics are quirky and often downright bizarre, but always fascinating. She has a gift for pointing out small things about life that we otherwise wouldn’t know or think about, and then we have fun thinking about them. Many threads could’ve been started by just about anybody, but Eve’s threads would not exist without her unique perspective on life. ---

I’d like to nominate **Shirley Ujest** because her threads do a public service. After her “Friends don’t let friends wear ponchos” thread I started a 12 Step Program to help reformed poncho wearers: My name is **smartini** and I wore a poncho. I convinced myself it was just once and that it was really a sweater without sleeves. Sort of a shirley temple sweater. But it was a poncho. ---
