I’ve been here for about 2 years and still don’t know the origins of the hamster thing. Could someone please explain it to me? Or is there nothing to explain, just one of those jokes that is and that’s all? ---

The running joke is that the Dope runs so slow it must be powered by a hamster on a treadmill. Hence, board is slow hamster(s) must be overworked. ---

My guess is the “What was your first post?” thread in MPSISM; people are doing vanity searches on the entire database to see what it was.
