So, when are we going to see the real “Mr. T vs. Carrot Top” site? I found one on the web, but it’s pretty lame. Mostly verbal, no pictures. ---

mmm… Buddy Cole. I’m with you, **dorkusmalorkusmafia** , Carrot Top does have a nice bod, as I mentioned the the Jay Leno thread in MPSIMS. He’s like the male Sandra Bernhardt. Now picture those two together. ---

He came to my college, years ago. He was actually decent live, but his pacing was so fast that if a gag bombed, he moved on before the audience had time to turn against him. At one time in the mid 90s he was the most popular comic on the college touring circuit, according to a profile at the time (circa 1994) in _Rolling Stone_. The writer tagged along with him during part of a tour. In the article, I remember his refering to a coed groupie who he had spent the night after a show as a “restraining order waiting to happen”. So just think of that Carrot Top haters, the man has groupies, and possibly even stalkers! He seems to get the joke that people loathe him and plays into it. Hell, he even turned up in a fantasy during an episode of _Scrubs_, as a nightmare version of a “jokey” doctor IIRC. Late night show hosts and comedians tend to look down on him becasue they regard him as only a prop comic. The joke being that if his luggage gets lost or destroyed, he has no act. So he has become the walking punchline for a stereotypically “bad comic”. I guess Gallagher wasn’t willing to play along. ---

I’m huge!” I’ve heard Carrot Top described as “Gallagher for thinking people.” Personally, this sounds a lot like describing the Yugo as “The AMC Gremlin for serious drivers.” ---

And what is the deal with his makeup now?? I remember seeing him on TV lots of times, years ago, without all the cosmetics…and now, he’s all mascara and plucked eyebrows and stuff. Weird. ---
