In [this](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=134523) post, **ArchitectChore** decided to be an asshole and slam **WV\_Woman**. What I want to know is, what makes you any better than her? You’re from WV too. Maybe everyone should assume that you are an embarrassment to the state also. Or maybe just to your own family. Or maybe you are just an asshole. I’ll bet that’s it. It’s what I believe about you. I don’t even know you. Just like you don’t know me, or **WV\_Woman**. I don’t know her either, but I don’t think she is an embarrassment to WV or anywhere. In fact, I’d rather know 10 people like her than one like you. Asshole. ---

It rather bad form to insult someone in a GQ thread. I suspect it that it is also bad form to insult someone in a thread where they have had no participation at all. ---

Definitely a cheap shot, but I don’t see the need for this Pit thread. Usually Pit threads require a tad more fire and brimstone to make 'em go. Why do you care, anyway? West Virginia Solidarity or something? ---

Regardless of any past behaviour by **WV\_Woman** or previous problems between her and **ArchitectChore** it was uncalled for, certainly out of place and generally unacceptable. Personal insults, barring perhaps incredibly mild ones, have no place outside the pit; _especially_ when they’re completely unrelated to the thread at hand. OTOH, I do agree with **Duck Duck Goose** that it’s probably not worth a pitting by you. If **WV\_Woman** chose to she’d certainly be entitled to it, but as it is… ---

I know where **ArchitectChore** is coming from. **WV\_Woman** is on my _very_ short list of posters who annoy the shit out of me. Still, I’d never make an unprovoked attack on her like that, much less in GQ. Bad form, indeed. However, **AC** already acknowledged he was out of line and apologized _five hours_ before you posted this little rant, **fireman**. While there is much to dislike in **WV\_Woman** , it is decidedly bad form to insult her in threads that have absolutely nothing to do with her, even in the Pit. To say nothing of GQ. However, it is in equally bad form to Pit somebody for something _five hours_ after they have acknowledged their error, apologized for it, and promised not to do it anymore. So my question is, what the fuck is **your** problem, **fireman**? ---

Mmm… Yes and no. WV\_Woman certainly used to be annoying, and still is occasionally, but she definitely seems to be improving. That may be because I’m seeing less posts by her recently, but most of those I have seen have been perfectly fine. I’m not saying I’ll shed any tears if she leaves, but certainly she should be given a chance. I’d missed that ArchitectChore apologised. Bad Fireman. Bad. ::waggles a finger disapprovingly:: ---

I don’t see where he apologized for his comment. All I see is that he is sorry for putting it in the wrong forum. I don’t understand why he felt the need to ruin an otherwise well written post with an insultingly stupid comment. And yes, it’s a WV thing. ---
