# Who to call to work on an riser above the electric meter on my hiuse?

I am having new gutters installed, they are 6" wide and replacing 5" wide ones. The electric lines going into the meter first come into a conduit that is at the top of the house. This conduit is shaped to go around my existing gutters and there is not enough room to fit a 6" gutter, so it needs replaced.

Can an electrician do this or does the electric company need to do this type of thing? I am in SE Michigan.

If it’s before the meter, the power company needs to be notified.

This is likely your cost and will need an electrician for. They will contact the power company for disconnect and reconnect when they are done.
