# Who uses the "Search took 0.0x seconds;" message?

What do they use it for?  
I’m asking about here on SDMB. I see it after I click New Posts and perhaps some other places.

On most sites, it would be informative to the admin. If it takes a significant amount of time, then it might be useful to start archiving or looking for better hardware.

Here, though, it probably is completely ignored. We don’t really have a tech/site admin. Our admins are all really Global Moderators with admin tools.

It’s not really of relevance to us in our everyday duties.

It might have meaning if we were having problems – it might be a symptom of a technical issue – but it’s not an issue now.
