Okay, I have not watched the show in weeks. I have a tendency to get all worked up and yell at the TV (it annoys my husband). Anyway, I just wanted to say that my favorite dumbass was one of the friends that was phoned a while back. The question was “Which of these counties is not on the equator?” I don’t remember the choices now, but anyway…the guy calls this friend who is a GRAD STUDENT in GEOGRAPHY. The GRAD STUDENT hears the question, and says “I’m not really sure.” The correct answer was Chile, which even I knew, and my sense of direction is so bad I could get lost in my own living room! I think he ended up getting it right, but for CRYING OUT LOUD!
How about the Harvard law student on “21” (winningest contestant on a game show, it seems, with more than a million bucks) who took a wild guess that Paris DID lie on the banks of the Seine!!
