Instead of barging in and saying “Perhaps none of you have seen it. Otherwise, I’ll assume you’re just hypocrites,” you might have said something like: "I’ve just started a new thread in GD about violating the copyright of open-source software. I’d be interested to hear opinions from people who have supported, or refused to condemn, copyright violations in this thread. Flies, honey, vinegar, etc. ---
