How’s the collection coming along, **Shirley**? I sent a few more last week; you should’ve gotten them by now. I re-gifted a couple that I’d received from other people from places that weren’t yet represented here. I left the original messages on them, so now you have an idea how banal and/ore weird my friends and family are. I was really into collecting postcards when I was younger. For awhile I had a big map of the U.S. on the wall and put the postcards up around the map, linking the cards with their origin using map tacks and dental floss. ---

I must apologize for not being attentive enough to this thread! I pick up the mail as I leave in the afternoon to pick up the kids from school. fighting the swarming bodies of the midget masses in the hallways, I give the teacher any postcards that came in. I do read them, but in the chaos and whining that ensues, any information is flushed out of my 1 bit memory drive. Irishgirl’s package arrived! (wooooooooo!) Makes me want to go to Ireland. Maastrict’s came in with even pocket change! One from Egypt. A buttload from the US ( including Virginia, Pentagon, Pennsylvania, California, Texas…and again, I’m blocking.) New Zealand has made it here already. I know I am forgetting a bunch and I profusely apologize. The teacher just loves this! You are all awesome and deserve a shiny gold star and a banana sticker on your forehead today!!!eleventyone!!! 😃 ---

I’m not going to put this on a postcard meant for 2nd graders, but the highlight of my day happened at the shop on Canal Street where I bought it. When I went to the cash register, there was a wind-up toy shaped like a penis head on the counter, and I faced it toward the cashier and wound it up. It promptly did an about-face and came right back to me. Me and the cashier laughed our asses off about that… so thanks for making it happen! ---

I have been neglecting this thread and I apologize! **Cuntator’s** package arrived in time for me to take it to school Friday, where the Teacher and I enjoyed reading the newspapers and fondling the 5 spot sent! My mailing of the post cards doesn’t involve penises, so sorry. But the lady at the post office said she grew up in the town you live in, small world, eh? Handsome, sexy boyfriend on a postcard is on the way, along with silly cards about shark teeth, shells, alligator head, spanish moss and manatees. I tried to find a postcard for the lady who wants the “official state bird” showing a mosquito, no luck. I’m still looking. Expect an envelope from Florida on Monday.
