I’ve met Roger Daltrey, I’m 5’2" and yes, he is very short. OK by me! I’ve never thought being tall is worthy of being added to a dude’s slim list of credits. But then, I’M short. ---

Daltrey all the way. My mental image of male hotness in the 70’s was created at the end of the movie _Tommy_, by the sight of Roger Daltrey running around shirtless in a pair of skin-tight jeans. I must have been at a very formative age. ---

Janis looked like fun. [Grace Slick](http://www.summeroflove.org/images/wolman/grace.slick.baron.jpeg) in a Girl Scout uniform, OTOH… Note that this is an entirely SFW shot from the same shoot. I can’t find the good one I saw when I was a Boy Scout. Needless to say, she had outgrown that uniform at the onset of puberty and this was later but before her Mother Earth period. Which still worked. Helps to start out as a model. I’ll return you to your boy toys. ---

They’ve all got the ugly sexy thing going on, but I’ve got to say Jagger looks like he’d be the most fun in bed. Zeppelin rules, but Plant has always seemed like a diva. ETA Bowie, of course, would blow them all (out of the water). No competition. ---

For all those who voted for Daltrey, he’s touring with his own band\* this summer. They’re doing Tommy along with assorted Who hits and even a Johnny Cash medley. The reviews so far have been good. Most of the women I know who are anywhere near my age (60) would say Paul McCartney, no contest. A couple like Plant okay. I don’t know any who think Jagger or Daltrey are sexy. I have never known a woman who thought Morrison was hot. A lot of guys seem to, though. As a guy, I’d say John Entwhistle was much hotter than Daltrey, and that Page was hotter than Plant. None of the Stones are hot, although Ron Wood was quite good looking in his early days with Faces. ---

Being a fan of Steve Perry and Steven Tyler, who we can also be included in the “ugly and super skinny, but somehow sexy” category, I can certainly see the appeal of all three, though none in the OP truly does it for me. Morrison was a handsome dude, but I didn’t really connect with his music, or his voice, which I find to be flat and uninteresting. Paul McCartney was cute but hardly sexy. Lennon was neither bad looking nor good looking. Eric Clapton got better looking as he aged. The most handsome of the 70s rockers, IMO, was George Harrison, especially when he got older and filled out a bit. As a side note, I’m reading Keith Richards’ biography, “Life” which includes photos of course, and was surprised that he actually wasn’t a bad looking guy in his youth. He had kind of a George Harrison look about him, back when he hadn’t ruined his body with all those drugs. Both he and Jagger need more calories. Also as a side note, I really enjoy Robert Plant and Allison Krauss’ “Raising Sand” album. If you want to see what he looks like now, look up their Raising Sand interviews on YouTube. (He’s not emaciated anymore.) ---

Yeah, Jim Morrison is sexy and pretty as well and all, but Robert Plant is just walking SEX. I first saw the Song Remains the Same as a 15 year old girl, and I just remember that it made me feel funny. It was a couple of years before I realised what the funny feeling was.😛 And no, it’s not just the fact that he has his… um… wares on display. He looks sexy, moves sexy, sings sexy… everything about him is just sex on a stick. Roger Daltrey would get it as well, but not in the same league. I wouldn’t touch Mick Jagger with someone else’s bargepole. ---
