# Who was the guy "SOOOOOOOOOUL Train" guy?

The guy at the beginning who made it sound like a train whistle (I suppose). Don Cornelius was the host, but there were at least two other people who did off-screen announcing, Sid McCoy and \*Joe Cobb. I’ve always assumed it was DC, but never saw it actually confirmed.

\*I’ll go out on a limb here, and say this is probably not the Joe Cobb from “Our Gang.”
