**Elementary school** : Bebe Neuwirth (Lilith on Cheers, and on Broadway now, I think) **College** : James K Polk Andy Griffith Charles Kuralt Michael Jordan, Marion Jones, Mia Hamm, and a bazillion other athletes As far as I know, my high-school’s only claim to fame is producing several years of North Carolina state bricklaying champions. ---

The closest thing to a celebrity to have emerged from the high school I attend is a Columbia County 4-H Cattle Champion… Wait a few years. When I hit it big in racing, future graduates can list me. ---

At my HS in Rochester, Michigan, about 10 years befoe I got there, a girl named Madonna Ciccone(sp?) had an urban legend started about her cheerleading (Dude, she didn’t wear panties!). Later she dropped her last name became a world known slut. ---

I’m not aware of anybody famous having attended my high school, although I would bet that the children of a number of varyingly famous physicists attended during or after WWII (I went to school in Oak Ridge, TN, which was created by the Manhattan Project). People who attended my college: Steve Jobs (dropped out); Peter Norton (of _Norton’s Utilities_ fame; also dropped out. One of my physics profs has funny stories about Peter sending him letters from India after he dropped out asking questions about field theory–he was trying to create a theory of the “Universal Love Field” or some such nonsense); and Dr. Demento (who comes back every year to give shows and who is a raging alcoholic). Pretty lame, eh? ---

Beverly Mitchell (of _7th Heaven_ fame) went to my High School. Graduated in the same year that I did ('99). Man, that girl is SKINNY. So did Johnathan Taylor Thomas (although that’s not his real name) did too, but he was in the class of '00. And so did the son of Bruce Boxleitner, Sam Boxleitner, although he probably isn’t very “famous” in the classical sense of the word. ---

The ONLY famous person that graduated from my undergraduate institution (Sul Ross State University, Alpine, TX) is… **Dan Blocker** You ask: Who? Why, it’s **Hoss Cartwright** of Bonanza! Baylor University has had a few, but none can beat Dan Blocker. ---

One of the “Normal Guys” in People Magazine’s “Most Beautiful People” issue…the neurosurgeon, Sanjay Gupta…was two years ahead of me. And he was a sweetheart. That’s the only remotely famous person I can think of. ---

David Robinson went to my HS. The first article I ever had published was an interview with his brother Chucky, who was a Freshman when I was a senior there. David was our special speaker at our graduation too. Marisa Tomei graduated from my High School the year before I started there. I transfered to another school junior year, and there was a rumor that Andrew Dice Clay had gone there, but I’m not sure if that’s true. Michael Baldalucci(sp?) from ‘The Practice’ went to my elementary school, and lived down the street. Rose ---

Martin Lawrence. In the suburb next to the one I grew up in, Kathie Lee Gifford. According to a friend of mine who went there, she was the school’s _only_ past homecoming queen who refused to attend a special bash they held for all their past kings and queens. Because she doesn’t like to admit publicly that she’s from Bowie, Maryland. Actually I don’t blame her … ---
