Who do you think were the hottest looking lead singers of the 1980s bands ? Vince Neil- from Motley Crue David Lee Roth-Van Halen Simon LeBon-Duran Duran Mike Tramp-White Lion There all fat and bald these days, but they were really something 20 years ago. ---

Debbie Harry!!!, My debbie Harry story: I work on oil rigs and there is generally only one television for the crew to use (all rigs have directtv), I almost never go into the tv room because there is normally a die hard, lethal weapon, ahnold type action movie on and that stuff is TORTURE to me. About two years ago I catch a promo for this blondie reunion concert on free per view and it comes to pass that i get to sit down (alone!) and watch this show, i’m bouncing up and down, rubbing my hands together thinking “this is gonna be great” when a woman? walks out on the stage, it was not Debbie, this hosebeast had Debbie for breakfast!, the voice was pretty close but in an instant most of my fantasies of my youth were shattered!, it was horrible. unclviny ---

You know what’s sad about a boy coming of age during the 80s? You get warped for life into thinking that being skinny, wearing spandex, and having long hair really turns on the babes. For the rest of my life, the first, instinctual, gut reaction to a night out is “how can I look like David Lee Roth?”. ---

Sting, when he was still with the Police, and making cool reggae-influenced new wave music, and his ego - although not “in check” - was not as rampantly unchecked as it became during his solo career making pretentious jazz-lite records. And I had a huge crush on the lead singer from “Big Country” when I was 13. Okay, he was a wannabe Simon Lebon, but I drooled whenever i saw him. Someone told me he committed suicide. Any one know if this is true? Oh, and that reminds me – Michael Hutchinsen from INXS. He was a hottie.
