I imagine a majority of those Vance’s age do NOT have such a photo floating around out there. And Trump is apparently telling the truth about his being a lifelong teetotaler. So this photo could wind up being part of Trump’s excuse for getting Vance off the ticket, should that happen. I suppose Trump is waiting to see who Harris picks for veep before deciding on whether to replace Vance. ---

I mean, there’s no such photo of me, either (though there might be some that are equally embarrassing). And I suppose that anyone who didn’t go to college wouldn’t, strictly speaking, have photos of themselves on a dorm floor. But it’s still pretty common for people to get way too drunk at least once in their life, and it’s common for it to happen when they’re college-aged, and it’s common for their friends to be present when it happens, and it’s common for those friends to take a picture to embarrass them with later. ---
