I never hear the fascists use numbers. How many Jan. 6 rioters have been convicted? Of those, how many “had the book thrown at them” for something minor and are now facing an unjust sentence? Bonus question: How many times have I heard Democrats defend what Republicans call “BLM rioters” by saying, “Well, what about the Jan. 6 rioters?” My answer: zero. Rioters, looters, etc., should be caught and punished. ---

The reality is that people actually peacefully protesting during the George Floyd protests had the book (and occasionally tear gas, pepper spray and rubber bullets) thrown at them, while Vance wants the J6 protestors who rioted and vandalized to go free. ---

I was reading an interview with his wife talking about the Secret Service which made me curious about his code name. It is apparently Bobcat, which was his school mascot but strikes me as amusing because of the cat lady thing. (Trump is of course still Mogul and Harris is Pioneer). ---

Any ideas on how the Democratic VP choice will impact Trump’s decision on whether to push out Vance? My first thought is that Gabby Giffords’s high profile would trigger him to pick a woman if Harris anoints Kelly. And I’m thinking that he’d stay pat if Harris picks Walz, since conservative vs. progressive, and officer vs. enlisted man, would sound to Trump like a good matchup. Other ideas? (There is another threat for who Harris will pick. I thought this thread would be good for how it will affect Trump’s final decision on a veep, and hope I was right.) ---
