IF I had to predict, it’s no. And the reason is by most accounts he used to be a decent guy, AND so far only Trump has been able to behave like a 12 year old schoolyard bully and pull it off. But I bet Vance doesn’t know that. Yet. DeSantis, Rubio, Cruz, et al had to learn it the hard way. Fun to watch him fail, though. ---

I get the feel of someone who always perceived himself as being bullied by that group, with a real inferiority complex, and who has been desperate to be accepted by them, happy to join in on bullying someone else to keep himself from being the target of that group. Doesn’t matter, well or not. It’s a diversion. It takes Walz off message to deny or refute wild claims. Swiftboating all over. Or if you prefer, Karl Rove with the fake listening device (bug) in Bush’s governor race against Ann Richards. It’s bogus, it’s a distraction. ---
