To nitpick, none of that rules out Trump thinking last night that said general would’ve been a better choice. (The interesting argument, of course, is whether – given what we know of Trump – any of it rules out Trump still thinking it _now_.) ---

I’ll be curious to see if Trump can play nice with Pence for the duration. I feel like Trump’s the kind of guy who doesn’t take too kindly to disagreement from his underlings. I wouldn’t be surprised to see any behind-the-scenes disagreements sneak out into the public at some point, just as a sign of who’s boss. ---
