I happened to check the list of candidates who have filed to run for president and there were 402 as of the evening of 06-17-15 (Trump hasn’t filed yet). After a careful review of the candidates, I support SYDNEY’S VOLUPTOUS BUTTOCKS (Ind - ID: P60005931) for president and LIMBERBUTT MCCUBBINS (Dem - ID: P60007366) for VP. ---

While I’ll probably vote for the Libertarian candidate for President, I’ve been known to write in candidates for down-ballot races if there’s nobody good in the running. Traditionally my most common write-in has been Darth Vader. I share his frustrations with the absurd processes and snail-like pacing of the Senate. I am impressed with the way that he tackles military bureaucracy. And there’s no deny his understanding of the importance of research into high-tech weaponry. On the other hand, he has in recent years shown a certain disdain for civil liberties, so I’m not sure that he’s entirely deserving of my support. For that reason, I am moving towards a candidate who truly would uphold the notion of “the government that governs best, governs least”. A candidate who is not energetic about expanding the reach of government. A candidate who doesn’t leap at every opportunity for meddling in business and our private lives. Homer Simpson 2016 ---

I think after a short perusal of the list, I’m gonna go with HRM CAESAR ST AUGUSTINE DE BUONAPARTE (Absolute Dictator - ID:P40001109 ) , mostly because his [Statement of Candidacy form](http://docquery.fec.gov/pdf/160/15031401160/15031401160_000001.pdf#zoom=fit&navpanes=0) (lookout! it’s a PDF!) is the most threatening. It kind of makes me think of how Gene Ray (Mr. TimeCube) might fill out a form. ---

Either Adolf Hitler or Josef Stalin. Zhang Xianzhong might be a good compromise choice-at least that’s what Tom Friedman says over on NYT. ---
